Biography
Alexander was born in 1633, the son of Alexander Patton and Elizabeth Leslie. He married Isobell Keith and their children included Margret, (about 1654), Jean (1662), Isobel (1664), Marjorie, Janet (1666), Mary (1667), George (1668), Anna (1671), Kathrin (1672), Alexander (1673), who became Provost of Aberdeen, James (1675), and William (1678).
