Biography
Josiah was born in 1723. He was the son of Ephraim Williams and Abigail Jones. Ensign in the regiment of his brother Ephraim. He was wounded at the time the colonel was killed Sept 8, 1755. [1] Vital Records of Newton show Josiah, son of Ephraim and Abigail, born in Newton, Massachusetts, April 1723. [2]
