Biography
Birth
- Jane (or Jennie) Taylor was born in Scotland about 1842, the daughter of Alexander and Ellen Taylor, according to her marriage record, which says she was 25 at her marriage in June 1867.[1] According to the Hinds genealogy, her mother's maiden name was Black.[2]
Marriage
- Jennie Taylor and Revillo Hinds, both of Boston, Massachusetts, were married at Newton, Massachusetts, on 18 Jun 1867.[1]

Death
- Jane (Taylor) Hinds died on 18 Mar 1886, probably in Massachusetts, and she is buried at the Hillman Ferry Cemetery in Livermore, Maine. where her gravestone gives her age at her death as 42.[3]
