Mary Alice (Alice) was born in 1843. She was the daughter of Henry Plumptre Gipps and Mary (Young) Gipps. She was baptised at Doddington, Kent, England, on 19 June 1842. ^[1]

She married Archibald Samuels Campbell in 1871 in Kensington, London.^[2]

Alice passed away in 1932 and is buried in Trumpington Parish Extension Cemetery in Trumpington, City of Cambridge.^[3][4]
