Marjory was born a Sandfurd, Fife daughter to Nairne of Sandfurd.
In 1600 she married Sir Peter Young of Seaton.
Sir Peter and Marjory had four daughters: [1]

- Elizabeth (b 11 February 1603)
- Nicola (b 5 July 1604) married David Boswell of Balmuto.
