A victim of the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake
She died with her fiveweek- old daughter Taneysha Gail Rose Prattley in her arms.
The young mother was walking behind her partner Glenn Prattley and his sister, Rochelle.
The group were on their way to a bus stop when the quake struck.
Kelsey and Taneysha were killed by falling rubble from the Ruben Blades Hairdressing Academy building on Lichfield St.
Glenn pushed his sister out of the way of falling glass, saving the 21-year-old’s life, but both siblings were knocked unconscious.
When he came to in Christchurch Hospital he was told his partner and daughter had not survived.
