The purported 1st wife of Henry Phelps (abt.1615-1672), purported mother of John Phelps Sr. (1645-1686).
The existence of Ann (Tressler) Phelps seems to come from speculation by James Savage that Henry's first wife (and mother of his son John), was a daughter of his step-father Henry Tressler. The Early New England Families Sketch provides several reasons why this is not likely, and notes that there seems to be no evidence that Henry Tressler had a daughter in New England.
