Birth

Nothing is known of the ancestry of John Sanders. According to his gravestone, he was born in 1784.

Marriage

On 4 Apr 1809, the town clerk of Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), certified that "an intention of marriage between Mr. John Sanders and Miss Abigail Paul, both of Livermore, "hath been entered with me fourteen days prior to the date hearof [sic] and has been published in Livermore as the Law Directs."^[1] Their first child was born at Livermore on 5 Mar 1810.^[2]

Death

No record has been found of the death of John Sanders. A gravestone at the Waters Hill Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, is inscribed with the dates 1784-1832.^[3]
