Biography

Barbara Whitham Waterhouse was born in 1886.^[1][2] She was the daughter of David Waterhouse and Elizabeth Whitham.

Barbara went missing on June 6, 1891. On the 11th her mutilated body was found lying in a street, wrapped in a shawl.^[3][4][5] Walter Lewis Turner was hanged for the murder at Armley Gaol on 18 August 1891.
