274. Sarah, born Sept. 23, 1812, and married Hon. Oliver Ames, Jr., of North Easton, Mass., where they resided. He was born Nov. 5, 1807. He was an eminent manufacturer, andone of the builders of the Union Pacific railroad, of which he was at one time the president. He died Mar. 9, 1877. His widow still survives him, esteemed and beloved in her hospitable and beautiful home in North Easton. Children:
i. Frederick Lothrop Ames, born June 8, 1835, and married, June 7, 1860, Rebecca C. Blair, who was born Dec. 30, 1829, and had:
Henry S., born Mar. 20, 1861 (sic), and died Oct. 18, 1861.
Helen Angier, born July 28, 1862.
Oliver, born Oct. 21, 1864.
Mary Shreve, born Feb. 1, 1867.
ii. Helen Angier Ames , born Nov. 11, 1836, and died Dec. 13, 1882.
