Anne was born in 1773. She was the daughter of William Jackson and Mildred Garnett. She married to Richard S. Hackley, a merchant, likely prior to him entering into a £20,000 bond to administer her father's estate in 1791. She passed away in 1802.

Ann was named as the daughter of William Jackson and as the deceased wife of Richard Hackley in an indenture selling lands originally belonging to her grandfather, Robert Jackson in Orange County and Fredericksburg, Virginia. This record also indicated she was deceased prior to 1805 leaving heirs. Those heirs were granted a 1/2 share of a 1/3 division of the said lands which were part of the estate of her deceased Uncle John Jackson, son of Robert Jackson in a suit filed in Chancery Court in Orange, Virginia (William Dade & wife vs. Richard Hackley & wife). The other 1/2 share of the 1/3 share going to the heirs of Ann's deceased sister, Mildred Garnett (Jackson) Morton, wife of Jeremiah Morton, who was also deceased.

Aug 3 1798. Jeremiah Morton and Mildred Garnett, his wife, to Wm. Morton of Orange Co. Whereas Jno. Morton, surviving brother of Wm. Morton, the father of the afsd. Mildred and Ann Hackley, wife of Richd. S. Hackley, having been a resident in the Kingdom of Gt. Britain for a considerable length of time, and this resulting from Mental incapacity, and whereas, he possesses considerable property both real and personal in this State, but especially in Orange Co., and whereas on acc. of the absence of the afsd. John Jackson and the circumstances attending him, he was supposed incompetent to the due presentation of the afsd. property, and whereas, the sd. Jeremiah Morton and Richd S. Hackley, who intermarried with the afsd. Mildred and Ann, only children of Wm. Jackson, who will, in case the sd. John Jackson should continue in his then and present capacity, and thereby be unable to make any disposition of his estate, be claimants to his afsd. est. under the will of Robt. Jackson, father to the sd. Wm. and John, etc., and whereas the sd. Jere. Morton and R. S. Hackley, upon making application, were appt. curators or a committee of the afsd. property abt. the yr. 1794, by the Orange Co. Court, and the sd. William Morton at that time became their security, etc., etc., to indemnify the sd. Wm. Morton, they the afsd. Jeremiah and Mildred G., his wife, convey to him, viz., the moiety of the sd. Mildred G. in the estate of her father, Wm. Jackson, etc., etc. Witnesses, Jas. Lewis, jr.; Geo. Morton, jr.; Wm. Crooks; Edwd. Herndon; Jas. Lewis. Septr. 4, 1798.
