Biography

Gordon Lockwood Lindsay, son of George Lindsay and Mildred Gowen was born on October 31, 1913 in Monmouth, Kennebec, Maine.^[1][2]

He was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force in World War II.^[1] He was a Clerk in a Office when he inlisted on November 23, 1940.^[3]

He married Lorene Alice Dee (1918-1995) on January 27, 1944 in Maine.

He was an Underwriter for Farm Bureau Insurance co. in 1950.^[4]

He died at the age of 66, on November 19, 1979^[5] in Portland, Cumberland, Maine, and was buried in the Glenside Cemetery in Winthrop, Kennebec, Maine.^[1]
