Biography

The maiden surname of Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Billings, is not known; she is likely to have been born in or near Boston by about 1637, based on her reported age of 69 at the time of her death in early November of 1706. Elizabeth, widowed by the death of Joseph in early 1679, was remarried in October of the following year to Deacon Samuel Thompson.^[1] She died at Braintree in early November of 1706.
