Birth and Origins

Andrew Vesey Davoren was the son of Rev Andrew Davoren and Catherine Irwin, of Roxborough, Co. Roscommon. He was born 29th November, 1821^[1]

Marriage and Family

He married Agnes Jeffreys (daughter of Richard Jeffreys, J.P., of Swansea, Major 23rd Regiment)^[2] on 11 Oct 1860 at Dublin South

"On 11 Oct 1860, Andrew Vesey Davoren (Captain of the South Down Militia , son of Andrew Davoren, clerk in Holy Orders) married Agnes Jeffreys (daughter of Richard Jeffreys, Major in the Army) at 11 Oct 1860 St Peter, Dub, Ireland^[3]
