Biography
Charles Ross was born about 1485 son to Nicholas Ross of Auchlossin, [1] son of John Ross of Auchlossin. [2]
Charles became laird of Auchlossin.
He married and had issue:
- John [3]
After the death of his first wife he married in 1545 the recently widowed Beatrix Gordon relict of Alexander Garden of Dorlaithers.
Charles and Beatrix were conjunctly infeft in the barony of Auchlossin and its multures by Royal Charter in Dec. 1545. [4].
Charles Ross deceased about 1558. He was survived by Breatrix Gordon and his son and heir, John Ross. [5]
