Biography

William Warren, b. 18 June 1737

Probate

William Warren of Plymouth, yeoman died intestate and on 14 November 1793, Joseph Warren Nelson, and Caleb Morton both of Plymouth were granted the administration of his estate.[1]

His inventory was taken on 21 November 1793 in Plymouth.[2] His estate was represented as insolvent, and a list of claims and creditors was recorded. His widow Bettey received her dower. An account of his estate by Joseph Warren Nelson was recorded which included the sale of land, doctor and nursing in his last sickness, funeral charges, appraisers, mortgage on the homestead, and administration fees. The balance of the estate was proportioned to pay the creditors.[3]
