Biography
Nancy was born on 8 Dec 1790 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, the second child born to Philip and Susanna (Almy) Gray.[1]
She married, as his second wife, George Almy (1782-1859), son of Sanford and Lydia (Gray) Almy, on 22 Jun 1837 at Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island.[2] With this marriage, she became the stepmother to seven minor children.
In the 1850 census, Nancy (age 59) lived in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States, with her husband, George, and three children.[3]
In the 1860 census, Nancy (age 69) lived with her sister, Phebe, and her younger sister, C Amanda Gray, in the town of Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States.[4] (George died the year before.)
Nancy, daughter of Philip Gray & Susanah Gray, died (age 70) on 6 Dec 1861 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States.[5] She was buried in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States, in the Colonel Pardon Gray lot.[6]
