4 Aug 1685: “This indenture witnesseth, that John Gilbert sonne of John Gilbert of Plymouth in the County of Devon clerk doth put himself apprentice to Thomas Gilbert citizen and clothworker of London”.[1]
John's wife was called Martha. They may be the John Gilbert and Martha Brisco married at Holy Trinity, Knightsbridge in Sep 1692.[2]
