Biography
Charles was born in 1815. He emigrated to New Zealand and was a gold digger in Collingwood. 1873 he attempted suicide by cutting his throat. He was committed for trial and dismissed. 1875 is an add in the paper mentioning that the money from Great Britain arrived. 1879 is the death of a Charles Ambler in Wanganui, not sure if it is him.
