Biography
John Reed was born on 10 August 1713 in Abington, Plymouth, Province of Massachusetts Bay, the son of John Reed and his wife Sara.[1]. He passed away in 1784.
Parents listed as John Reed (b.1687) and Sarah Hersey, who was later married to John's brother Jacob Reed. Online source of "Descendants of William Reade" which lists all the descendants of that family from the 1600s up to 1900, completely disproves Ancestry.com paternal links between this John Reed (and the Abington, Massachusetts, Reed/Reade families) and John Reed (b. 1743) of York County, Pennsylvania.
