John Lyman Fritz was born 21 Sep 1919 in Chelsea, Bethel Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA. He was the son of William Earl Fritz and Sarah Lila Chandler. He had an older brother William Earl Fritz.

Gertrude Ford was the daughter of Henry/Harry L and Katherine Williams Ford. They lived in Middletown, Delaware county in 1930 and 1940. ^[8]
