Biography
The adopted daughter of Clarence Eugene Beagle (1874-1944) and Clara E. Seeley (1876-1946), Laura was born in 1915.[1] She married Delbert Wayne Gamble (1910-1972) in Jackson, Michigan on June 30, 1932.[2] Their children included:
- Deleime Ann (1933-1983)
- Clarence D. (1837-)
In 1940, Laura, Delbert, and their two children lived with Laura's brother and his family in Jackson while Delbert worked as a machine operator at a muffler factory.[3] Laura and Ival's parents lived with the family, too, so it was a crowded household with six adults and three children. Laura and Delbert divorced on September 4, 1946[4] and Laura remarried four years later, marrying Ralph J. Hoffman (1902-1978) in Jackson on October 14, 1950.[5] Laura passed away in 1976 and is buried at Roseland Memorial Gardens (Section H) in Jackson.[6]
