Biography
Joseph St-Louis was born on 16 February 1773 and baptised the following day in Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup, Louiseville, Province of Québec. His parents were Joseph Billy dit St-Louis and Marguerite Bellemare. [1]
Joseph Billi dit Saint-Louis married Madeleine Giguère, daughter of Augustin Giguère and Madeleine Paquin, on 17 February 1800 in Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup, Louiseville, Lower Canada. [2]
Joseph Billy dit Saint-Louis, widower of Madeleine Giguère, married Marie Rose Rivard dite Lacourcière, daughter of the late Claude Joseph Rivard and Marie Félicité Cadot, on 7 January 1811 in Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup, Louiseville, Lower Canada.[3]
