Bridget was born about 1678. She was the daughter of Edward Chamberlayne and Jane Unknown.
She lived in the parish of St Martin Outwich, London and married James Taylor of St Andrews, Holborn, son of Joshua Taylor, in ye Seal Office, Lincoln's Inn Chapel, London, on 17 April 1707. James may have been a lawyer at Lincoln's Inn.[1]
They lived in London.
She was left a widow on her husband's death in March 1723 when she was 45.
A tax record for 1753 shows that she was living in St Andrew Holborn.

She never remarried, living, as her burial epitaph states, until her death in February 1758. was buried at All Saints, Stretton upon Dunsmore, with her sister Mary, and their parents, in the Chamberlayne Burial site.
