Talcottville - Henry F. Rauscher, Respected Citizen, Dies
Talcottville, Nov. 1. - Henry F. Rauscher, a life-long resident of this village, died Wednesday night. Mr. Rauscher had been in failing health for some time past. He was a Democrat, and had twice served the town of Leyden as collector.
Mr. Rauscher was born in Talcottville, July 7, 1855, son of the late Peter and Catherine Miller Rauscher. January 25, 1885, he married Alwilda Hall at Port Leyden. They then settled in this village, where they had since made their home.
Besides his wife Mrs. Rauscher, leaves two daughters, Bessie, Talcottville, and Mrs. William Almen, Brooklyn; son, Harland H., Boonville, and a siser, Flora Rauscher, Talcottville.[1]

Mr. Rauscher was born in Talcottville, July 7, 1855, son of the late Peter and Catherine Miller Rauscher. Jan 25, 1885, he married Alwilda Hall at Port Leyden. They settled here where they had since made their home.
Besides his widow he leaves two daughters Miss Bessie, Talcottville, and Mrs. William Almen, Brooklyn; son Harland H., Boonville, and a sister Miss Flora Rauscher, Talcottville.
Funeral services will be at the home tomorrow afternoon at 1:30, and at 2 at the Talcottville M. E. Church. Burial will be in Talcottville Cemetery.[2]
