Reginald (29) married Laura Mary Gedye (21) (born on May 13, 1854 in Sydney, Colony of New South Wales; daughter of Charles Townsend Gedye) in 1876 in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia. Their daughter was Laura Lucie Finlay (~1877–~1949).^[1]

Reginald and Laura Mary Finlay's child Mildred Ethel Finlay was born in 1879 in New South Wales.^[2]
