Biography

Arlene was born in 1892. She was the daughter of Jeff Gardner and Cora Bearden^[1].

She married Walter Horace Williams in 1913. ^[2]

In 1920, Arlene, age 28, was living with Horace in Bedford County, Tennessee. The couple had no children and Horace's occupation was listed as "merchant". He was in a business partnership with Arlene's brother, Clyde Gardner, who lived nearby.^[3]

Horace died in an accident in 1923 and it doesn't appear that Arlene had children or remarried.

She passed away in 1957, age 65, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and was buried at Herman Cemetery, Bedord County, Tennessee.^[4][5]
