In 1803, there emigrated from Strathglass to America, Donald (Og) Chisholm, and Donald (Mor) Chisholm, with their families. A number of other families from the same place accompanied them. On June 3rd of that year, they set out from a point near Fort William, on the ship "Aurora" (Captain Alexander MacLean) for Pictou.
ALEXANDER CHISHOLM, third son of Donald (Og), died in his sixty-third year, on April 26th, 1861, and in the next year, Colin, the fourth son, died in his sixty-second year.
