Ordained Deacon , 1896, and Priest, 1898, by the Bishop of Cork; formerly Curate of Kilbrogan, 1896-1903; Rector of Ballinadee, 1903-08; Rector of Drimoleague 1908.^[3]

Married, June 30th, 1903, Bandon, Ireland, to Eveline Mary Constance, daughter of Rev. Benjamin Christmas Fawcett, B.A., Rector of Kilbrogan.
