The 1901 census of Killann, County Wexford, records James Willis, a teacher at the National School in Killann aged 27, born in County Carlow; and Isabella, his wife aged 21, born in County Dublin. [1]
James Willis with his wife and 10 children, a Church of Ireland family, moved from Killann, County Wexford to Rosslea during the civil war period in Ireland, 1920-1925. [2]
