Biography

Lydia was born in 1774.

From 1928 Burbank Genealogy entry for Abner Burbank, her husband: Married Lydia Robinson. A grandson says that he was living in Wareham, MA, in 1800, probably lived there a few years before settling in Taunton. The early town records of Tauton being burned makes it difficult to get information. In the City Hall at Taunton it says, "Abner Burbank was of Plymouth." His descendants say that he had a brother, Joseph, who lived in Taunton, and Joseph is recorded as coming from Plymouth. From the evidence at hand there is not much doubt, if any, but what his father was Joseph (5) of Plymouth, MA and not the least doubt but what he belonged to the Plymouth branch, and was the grandson of Timothy (4). The Genealogy lists eleven children.
