Pvt. Paul Mason was Killed in Action during World War II.
He waws killed during the Battle of the Bulge in 1945, and was interred at Arlington National Cemetery in 1949.[1][2]

Pvt Paul W Mason, killed in the Battle of the Bulge, March 21, 1945, will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, on April 28 (1949).
Pvt Mason was a son of Jesse Oliver Mason and the late Ice Jane Ruckman Mason of Moundsville, born in this city December 5, 1920. He entered service August 7, 1942, served with the 397th Infantry in the 95th divison at several posts in the States before going over seas in August 1944.
In addition to his father and step-mother he is survived by two brothers, Orion J Mason of Moundsville and Glenn B Mason of Wintersville, Ohio; three half-sisters, Eileen, Sylvia, and Evelyn Mason, of New Martinsville, and three half-brothers, Jesso Mason, Jr and Darrell Mason of New Martinsville and Pvt Justin A Mason of Ft Lewis, Washington.
