Birth

Herbert J. Reckards was born at Turner, Maine, on 11 Mar 1847, the son of Thomas J. Reckards and Julia (Dillingham) Reckards.^[1]

Marriage

Herbert J. Reckards and Vilroy G. Delano, both of Turner, Maine, published at Turner their intention to marry on 2 Jul 1868 and they married there on 12 Jul 1868.^[2]

Death

Herbert J. Reckards, shoemaker, died of chronic myocardial degeneration at Bath, Maine, on 18 Sep 1910, with his age at his death recorded as 63 years, 6 months.^[3] His gravestone at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, Maine, is inscribed with the dates 1847-1910.^[4]
