Beatrix was born about 1585. The date of her birth is not certain but has been estimated from the dates of birth of her father and mother and husband. The place of her birth is not certain but has been estimated as the place of her father's lands.

She was the daughter of Alexander Robertson of Inchmagranoch, 7th of Lude,^[1] and Agnes Gordon.

She married Charles Robertson, 3rd of Auchleeks.^[2]
