Biography

Jaclyn Dawn (Beanie) Kennedy, 18, of Economy, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2011. Jackie was the second of three daughters born to Rich and Kim Richard Kennedy on March 7, 1993, in McKees Rocks, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her older sister, Katie Kennedy and her fiance, Frank Beck Jr.; a younger sister, Madie Kennedy; paternal grandparents, Richard and Sandra Kennedy, Freedom; maternal grandmother, Audrey Richard, Carnegie, and her late maternal grandfather, Kenneth E. Richard Sr. She was the aunt and godmother of Colten Beck and is also survived by her godparents, Beth Fosnaught and Angela Weigand. Jackie will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including her classmates of Ambridge Area High School where she was a member of the Class of 2011.

She was actively involved in soccer and chamber choir and was especially passionate about her work as a mentor with Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Jackie worked at Eat ’N Park in Cranberry and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway.

Friends will be received today and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
