Joseph Ambrose Weishaar was born June 7, 1921 in Fairfield, Adams, Pennsylvania. He died April 22, 1992 in Frederick, Frederick, Maryland at age 71.
Son of Charles Michael Weishaar (1894–1973) and Annie Rebecca Cool (1886–1978).

Weishaar age 53, and children Wilbur, a laborer in a furniture factory age 20, Joseph age 19, Mary age 17, and Lorraine age 15. Also in the home is Annie's mother, Mary I. Cool age 75.

Joseph was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Libertytown, MD. He was a veteran of WW II serving as a communication specialist in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the air force, he served as a Civil Service Communications Specialist at Fort Detrick, MD, until his retirement there. He was a member of VFW Post 15 Gettysburg.
