Biography

Major Ellis “Mage” Kittrell, son of Felix Zebodee Kittrell and Burnettie (Kennedy) Kittrell, was born on 4 Oct. 1909 in Smith County, Tennessee.[1]

He married Gladys Hackett Kittrell, his third cousin once removed and daughter of Elijah Samuel Hackett and Viola M. (Nixon) Hackett, [1]

Major died on 30 June 1961 at Smith County, Tennessee and was buried at Dixon Springs Cemetery, Dixon Springs, Smith County, Tennessee. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
