Biography
George O. Drewing, the son of Ludwig "Louis" Drewing (1832–1897) and Louise Krauss (1847–1921), was born about 1875 in St. Louis, Missouri.
George was counted as a son of Louis Drewing in the June 1880 census of St. Louis City, Missouri. [1]
George and Annie S. Kerr were issued a marriage license in October, 1899 in St. Louis, Missouri. At the time, Annie was living at 2518 S. 3rd Street, and George at 2721 DeKalb.

- There was apparently one other child as well, as the newspaper account of George's fatal shooting mentions 2 little children.
On December 8, 1901, George was shot and mortally wounded by a shotgun blast to the back of his head.

George died as a result of his wounds on January 14, 1902 in Alexian Brother's Hospital in St. Louis city, Missouri.

At the time of his death, George was living at 2819 Lyon, St. Louis City, Missouri.
