Biography

Armando Corea Sr. has Italian Roots.

Armando was born in 1906.^[1][2]

Armando is a first-generation American citizen, the son of immgrants Antonio and Ernestia Fotino Corea.

He married Anna Zaccone.

Armando was was a jazz arranger, trumpeter, and bassist, and his orchestra and bands were known to play in jazz clubs in the Boston area.^[3]

In 1940, Armando and his wife Anna lived in Chelsea, Massachusetts on Chestnut St. ^[4] They were childless at the time and lived next door to Frank Corea. ^[4]

He died in Los Angeles, California in 1987.^[2][5]
