Hallie Smith was born on February 2, 1913 in LaRue, Kentucky, United States, son of Boone Smith (~1877–~1956) and Lee Nola Gollaher (~1882–~1918).
Hallie married Thelma Susan Gentry (born on June 2, 1922 in Larue County, Kentucky; daughter of Nathaniel Edward Gentry and Nora Ellen (Noe) Gentry).
Hallie died on January 23, 1994 in Union City, Obion, Tennessee, United States, aged 80. He was buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Hodgenville, LaRue County, Kentucky.[1]
