Birth

The FindAGrave memorial, for Tamson (Doe) Hobbs, citing no sources, says she was born at Livermore, Maine, on 17 Apr 1852, the daughter of Elijah Doe and Hannah (Bryant) Doe.^[1] In 1860, Tamson L. Doe was living with Elijah and Hannah Doe at Turner, Maine, at the age of seven.^[2]

Marriage

Tamson L. Doe married Josiah W. Hobbs,^[1] as his second wife. Josiah's first wife died in January 1873.^[3] In 1880, Josiah and Tamson Hobbs were living at Turner, Maine, with Josiah's son from his first marriage, Arthur, age 8. and the daughter of Josiah and Tamson, Lena, age 5.^[4]

Death

The gravestone of Tamson L. Hobbs at the Leeds Center Cemetery in Leeds, Maine, is inscribed with the dates 1852-1924.^[1]
