Henrich Olofsson Lainio

We can't find him married in Alta. It suggests he got married before he got there. However, all the children were born in Alta. Henrik joined the tax lists for Alta as "springman" (= free of tax first year) in 1724. The years after that he paid the first time half tax. From 1742 - 1748 it says that he was "poor". His financial situation then improved considerably. From 1749 he paid full tax until he was replaced by his son Mathis (Mathias) Henriksen in the taxman's figure for 1764. We know that Henrik Olsson Lainio lived in "Storgjerdet" in Alta. See also mention of him in "Alta's history" volume 1 and the book "In the Kingdom of Storlaksen". Henrich Olofsson Lainio, c. 1696 – 1770) was a 13-year-old. Married probably in Jukkasjärvi with Regine Mattsdotter. At least they had the children : Ole, Kristine, Mathis, Henrik, Johannes, Clemet, Peder, Lucie, Thomas and Isaac.
