William Clyde "Buster" Murray, 84, Wetumpka, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at Community Hospital, Wetumpka. He was a native of Franklin County and a member and served as deacon of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Willis Murray.
Survivors include his son, Ray Murray and wife, Dean, of Eclectic; sister, Mattie Waldrep, Russellville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating will be Edward Lou Allen. Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Jody Mulder, Joe Murray, Larry Robbins, Dean Murray, Scott Hamilton and Jimmy Greenhill.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
