He married Anne Littleton, daughter of Sir Edward Littleton and his wife, Mary Fisher.[1] They were parents of a daughter, Alicia. [1] Children included

Anne died on the 2nd of November 1697 and Charles subsequently married Elizabeth Bradshaw, daughter of Anthony Bradshaw of Stifford Clay in Essex. [1]
