Biography
Floyd was born in 1897. [1] He was the son of Thomas Saufley and Ada Dennett. The 1910 census shows him living with his parents and siblings in Augusta County, Virginia. [2] In 1918 he married Cora E. Craun. [3] The 1920, 1930, and 1940 census information shows him living with his wife and children in Rockingham County, Virginia, and Augusta County, Virginia. [4][5] [6] He was a farmer. Floyd passed away in 1986. [7] [8]
