John (Logan) Logan IInd of Restalrig was born in Scotland.

John was the son of Simon logan.^[1]

His father having predeceased his grandfather, John became the 2nd of Restalrig in 1439.

He had issue:

1. Robert, the heir
2. James, "The Shirra" Deputy-shriff of Edinbugh

• Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Sir John, the eldest grandson, succeeded his grandfather in the barony of Restalrig, and, like Thomas de Lestalric, his ancestor of the twelfth century, held the high office of Sheriff of Edinburgh.
