Biography
Luke was a son of the 1st Viscount Netterville. His date of birth is estimated based on being the middle of his mother's 13 children.
He married Margaret Barnewall, and they had sons Richard and Francis.
The Nettervilles were seen as having played ambiguous roles during unrests and rebellions between the English and Irish.
It is said though that Luke was a "lawless and ruthless rebel", who declared his loyalties unambiguously in 1641, and was killed fighting on the rebel side.
