eldest daughter of C. M. Templeman, Atherton, N.Q., late of Abermain, South Wales
jane arrived in Australia from Glamorgan, with her family as remittance passengers on the S.S. Ophir arriving Brisbane 14 February 1906. The family comprised:

- Martha Templeman, 11
- Tryphena Templeman, 8
- Caroline Templeman, 5
