Joseph Washburn and Clarissa White had two daughters, including:
Harriet D. Washburn, born ca. 1840 in MA,[1] was still unmarried and living with her widowed mother Clarisa Washburn in Stoughton, MA, in the 1870 federal census with a son born apparently out-of-wedlock, married Asa Packard, of North Bridgewater, son of Oliver and Anna/Amey Packard, as his second wife, on 28 Sept. 1872 in Stoughton, MA.[2] He was born ca. 1804 in Warwick, RI.[3] He had married first to Patience B. Allen, of Hanson, MA, daughter of Pratt and Nancy Allen, on 18 Sept. 1850 in Hanson.[4] He died on 19 Apr. 1880 in Brockton, MA, aged 76 years, 6 months, of “phlebitis,”[5] and she was living in Stoughton, MA, in the 1880 federal census with her mother Clarissa Robinson.[6]
She had a son by an unidentified James A. Washburn: [7]
James A. M. Washburn, born ca. 1868 in Stoughton, married Ada B. Daniels, daughter of Asaph D. and Hattie A. Daniels, on 29 Sept. 1889 in West Bridgewater.
