Biography
Paul was born about 1904. He was the son of Charles Silver and Lena Hurowitz.
Paul was listed as Paul Silverstein on the 1910 and 1920 federal censuses, but records for family members of Paul suggest that the family began using Silver, at least some of the time, as their last name in the 1910s (primarily on local and state documents).
Paul Silver is the name on his death certificate.
Paul's headstone gives his Hebrew patronymic as Paltiel, son of Bezalel, and lists his age as 18.
